“Let the Good Times Roll” Feb. 25th

The American Banjo Museum will take on the air of Bourbon Street and the spirit of a second line parade when it hosts its second annual Krewe de Banjo Mardi Gras event on Saturday, February 25th.
From 6-9 p.m. that evening the museum (located at 9 E. Sheridan in Oklahoma City) will burst to life with the sights and sounds of an evening at the Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

“This is going to be a wonderful event,” said Johnny Baier, executive director, American Banjo Museum. “With great food, fantastic jazz music, and people having a wonderful time, it will be like a little piece of the French Quarter right here in Oklahoma City.”

With music provided by the Jambalaya Jass Band, guests will also be treated to southern cuisine including sausage gumbo, red beans & rice, corn bread muffins and apple raisin pound cake with praline glaze.
And, revelers can wash it all down with a refreshing Hurricane. The evening festivities will also include a wine pull and other Mardi Gras treats.

Prior to the nightime event, the Jambalaya Jass Band will also perform for regular museum goers from 3-4 p.m.

Tickets for the Krewe de Banjo Mardi Gras event are just $20 for museum members and $25 for non-members.
Seating is limited, so get your tickets now!
